Michigan-based writer Kathleen Tighe is currently working on a memoir of personal essays detailing the years she lived as an expatriate in Saudi Arabia. The memoir selections intersect with current political and social issues. After a career as an English teacher, teaching overseas and in rural Michigan, Kathleen now enjoys focusing on creative expression, which includes creative nonfiction, poetry, and fiction. When she is not writing, she reads, travels with her husband, walks her rambunctious golden retriever, and keeps tabs from afar on her adult children.
